The AR500 Armor Blunt Force Trauma Pad is designed to decrease felt energy upon impact and is worn behind Level III steel armor plates. It features non-Newtonian layers which instantly harden upon impact, creating a larger rigid surface area, decreasing energy transfer and increasing absorption throughout the trauma pad. Advanced Shooters Cut (ASC) for all front and back plate sizes. Weight for 10" x 12" size - 5.9 ounces. Thickness - .25".
